Kim and her husband, Steve, have two sons, Preston and Dallas. Steve is a Conservation Officer and locksmith. They are members of Peace Lutheran Church.

A hearing aid specialist has training in the assessment of patients who specifically seek rehabilitation via hearing aids. He or she is licensed to perform hearing evaluations and to dispense and service hearing aids and related products.
